This beautiful beach destination in Kerala plays host to several lovely beaches which attract scores of visitors all day long. The three crescent shaped beaches Lighthouse Beach, Hawa Beach and Ashok Beach are separated from each other by rocky headlands.The most popular is the southernmost stretch Lighthouse Beach, dominated by the Vizhingam Lighthouse set upon a rocky outcrop. Hawa Beach also draws lots of visitors and offers views of Halcyon Castle. Near Ashok Beach you will see a fine example of famous architect Charles Correa’s early works the old ITDC hotel. Ayurveda centres, a huge attraction here, have mushroomed around Kovalam, the most reliable ones, of course, being those run in the resorts.

Day 1 : Arrival Cochin & transfer to Marari (70 km - 1.5 hr approx.)

On arrival in Cochin airport / railway station, proceed to Marari and after arriving at Marari, check into a Beach resort. Evening leisure at beach. Overnight stay at Marari.

Day 2 : Optional visit to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary and backwater cruise

After breakfast at the hotel, you will visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary and later go for an optional backwater cruise. Overnight stay at Marari.

Day 3 : Marari - Varkala (100 km - 2 hr approx.)

After breakfast check out from the hotel / resort and proceed to Varkala. On arrival at Varkala, check in to hotel / resort. Evening leisure at beach. Overnight stay at Varkala.

Day 4 : Varkala city tour

After breakfast, you will go for Varkala tour including Janardhana Swamy Temple, Sivagiri and Fishing Hamlet, Anjengo Fort. Overnight stay at Varkala.

Day 5 : Varkala - Kovalam (60 km - 1.5 hr approx.)

After breakfast check out from the resort and proceed to Kovalam, check into the hotel / resort. Evening leisure at beach. Overnight stay at Kovalam.

Day 6 : Trivandrum City Tour

After breakfast, proceed for Trivandrum City Tour including Museum, Art Gallery, Zoo, Palace and Sri Padmanabhaswami Temple. Overnight stay at Kovalam.

Day 7 : Kovalam - Trivandrum / Cochin Departure (Kovalam - Trivandrum 30 km - 1 hr approx. or Kovalam - Cochin Airport 220 km - 6 hr approx.) / Departure

After breakfast check out from the hotel and we will drop you at Trivandrum / Cochin airport or railway station for onward journey.

Any cost arising due to natural calamities like, landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes) etc.
Any increase in Airlines taxes or fuel price at the time of departure, leading to increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.
