Mussoorie is a popular hill station in Indian state of Uttarakhand, situated at a height of 2005 meters above the sea level and located at a distance of 34 km from Dehradun. It is situated at the foothills of the Himalayas and is known as the Queen of the Hills. Mussoorie derives its name from the plants of “mansoor” which are available in large quantities in this region. You can enjoy the ropeway in Mussoorie at the Gun Hill. It also gives a bird's eye view of the town. You can get a panoramic view of the Himalayan ranges from the Gun Hill. Mussoorie has several interesting tourist places like The Mall, which extends from Cloud's End to Rockville. The Mall gives you a feeling of the old world charm which is heightened by the presence of the Municipal garden, the Tibetan School and Home and the National Academy of Administration. Initially an escape for the British from the unforgiving heat in the plains, Mussoorie has grown into a popular hill-station to provide you an escape into the wave of activity surrounding the scenic views. The Mall Road is the centre point of Mussoorie with its two ends Library and Picture Palace spread some distance away. Visit Mussoorie to admire the nature with beautiful waterfalls and sceneries as well as architectural marvel of colonial structures.
On arrival in Mussorie, check-in to the hotel and relax. Later proceed to visit famous Mall Road in the evening. Overnight stay in hotel.
In the morning, proceed for local sightseeing of Mussoorie which includes Kempty Falls, Camel back Road, Lal Tibba, Lake Mist and Gun Hill Point where you can enjoy a cable car ride (optional). Later you can go for shopping at mall road. Return to hotel for a pleasing overnight stay.
After breakfast, proceed towards Delhi for your departure.
